History of SAU

Located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, Shenyang Aerospace University is a polytechnic institute featured by aeronautics and astronautics and primarily focusing on engineering. Since its founding in 1952, SAU was one of the six undergraduate aeronautics institutes subordinate to the former Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics of China. Now, it is the only institute jointly supported by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. Besides, SAU is also one of 18 non-army institutes which cultivate army officer in reserve for air force and urgently-needed aeronautics and astronautics talents for equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province. It is a key institute subordinate to the People’s Government of Liaoning Province.

How to Apply

Qualifications for Admission

All applicants must be in good health.
(1) Bachelor’s Degree: Under the age of 35, a high school graduate or with the equivalent qualification of 12-year education background. Passing the 4th level HSK is required if study in the Chinese language. Mathematics, physics, and chemistry with 60% of total marks results are necessary for engineering degree courses.

(2) Master’s Degree: Under the age of 45, a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification. Passing the 6th level HSK is required if study in the Chinese language. Mathematics, physics, and chemistry with 60% of total marks results are necessary for engineering degree courses.

(3) Junior Advanced Study: Under the age of 35, a B.S. degree or equivalent qualification, able to take courses in English or in Chinese.

(4) Senior Advanced Study: Under the age of 45, a B.S. degree, M.S. degree or equivalent qualification, able to take courses in English or in Chinese.

(5) Chinese Language Course: No prerequisite required.

Procedures

(2)After the application has been verified, the Admission Notice and JW202 Form for a visa will be sent to qualified applicants or their sponsors.
(3)A visa can be obtained from the Chinese Embassy or consulate in the applicant’s country with the Admission Notice and JW202 Form.
(4)Students should come to SAU one week before the class start. Those who are unable to come on time will lose the seat for study at SAU.

Conditions of Payment
1. SAU prospective students must transfer one-year tuition fee before they will be given original documents for a visa interview at the Chinese Embassy in their country of residence.
2. If an SAU student secured a visa and entered China, but he or she decided not to study at our university; the one-year tuition fee will be forfeited.
3. If any of SAU students does not get a visa, the tuition fee will be refunded.
4. Tuition and accommodation fees should be paid to the university bank account directly.
